Terms of Service

**Interim notice — pending legal review.**

These terms govern your use of Wisecsite as a client. Your customers' purchases
on a storefront are governed by that storefront's own terms.

## The service

We provision and host an online store for you. We run the software, hosting and
updates. You keep control of your content, products and customer records.

## Ownership

We own the platform, the storefront templates and the code, including work done
for a custom build. You own your content, product data, customer records and
trade marks, and license them to us only so far as we need to run your store.

## Your responsibilities

You are responsible for what you sell, how you describe it, your pricing and
tax treatment, and your own regulatory compliance. You must not use the service
for unlawful goods, to infringe anyone's rights, or in a way that creates
sustained fraud or chargeback activity.

## Suspension

We may suspend or remove a storefront that breaches these terms. Except where
the breach is serious or unlawful, we will give notice first.

## Availability

We do not currently commit to a specific uptime figure. We will publish one
once it is set.

## Ending the agreement

You can cancel at any time from your dashboard, without contacting support.
On cancellation your storefront stays available until the end of the period you
have paid for. You can export your data before and for a period after that.

## Liability

Our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the
claim, except where the law does not allow such a limit.

## Changes

We will give notice before changing these terms in a way that materially
affects you.
