## What we set

for the site to work and are set without asking, which the law permits.

**Analytics** — only after you accept. These tell us which pages are used and
where people get stuck.

**Marketing** — only after you accept. These are set by advertising providers
and let them measure campaigns.

Nothing in the analytics or marketing categories loads until you choose. If you
close the banner without choosing, nothing beyond the strictly necessary set is
set, and no analytics or advertising request is made.

## Do Not Track

If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we treat that as a refusal of
analytics and marketing regardless of the banner.

## Changing your mind

Use the cookie settings link in the site footer. Withdrawing consent is as easy
as giving it, and takes effect immediately.

## Fonts and other embedded content

Fonts are served from our own servers, so loading a page does not disclose your
IP address to a font provider. Some pages embed third-party content such as
maps or video; where they do, we identify them before they load.
